Beef noodle on the way to Hua Hin: Petchburi goodies

I bet there are some of you who wonder what to eat for a quick meal on the way to or back from Hua Hin. This place I will recommend you is located in Petchburi province. This shop is called Na-Na. They offer beef and pork noodle seasoning with special Kariang (hill tribe) chili that's very spicy with a nice purfumy smell.

Other than the noodle, they also offer quick thai food such as pad kraprow (stir fried basil with meat), fried rice, Thai omlet, etc.

Once you finish your meal, now it's time for a dessert. Take a right turn from the noodle shop for 50 meters you will see a cart full of Thai dessert on the pavement. The thing that make this place special is they use palm sugar from the area for sweetener. Lod Chong Singapore with palm sugar syrup is the best ever! But if you don't like palm sugar you can ask for a regular syrup as well.

Chill by the sea: goodies in Hua Hin

Once again, I'm in Hua Hin but for the same reason as every other times - chill, drink and eat all the goodies. For me, the restaurant that has the perfect athmospher to sit, chill and listen to the waves hit the shore while drinking champagne is Let' Sea.

Let's Sea got very famous for its style of construction that stylishly fits with white sand and beach chair. Back then, this place is a restaurant and bar only but now also offer a hotel with the same chill style for relaxing day in Hua Hin.

There are mixtures of food, including Thai, Italian, French and some fusion foods, available here.

The food here is not the best but with that kind of athmosphere, every thing taste fine.

Ready for a glass of wine? - Monsoon Valley, wine goodies in Hua Hin

Because I have condominium in Hua Hin so I've spent quite a bit of time there. One chill place I want to recommend you this time is a winery called Monsoon Valley, which is located 45 minutes away from the downtown of Hua Hin.

The architecture here is modern with a touch of some Thai material such as a bamboo roof. you can enjoy the Monsoon Valley wine by glass or bottle. Did i tell you that their wines have won an award, too?. If you are not sure which one to pick you can simply have a taste before you order at the wine tasting section. If you don't like their wine you can order other kind of drinks such as Prosecco or sparkling wine.

Snack and food are also available here. But I personally don't like food here that much though.

The over all atmosphere is very chill. If you go at the end or the beginning of the year you will get to experience a real chill time, the only chill time that Thailand can offer.

Plearn Wan - Take the time machine back to the GooDies old days

A new (hip in the oldstyle) place that just opened months ago, plaen Waan is now a new destination for people who travel to Hua Hin. Decorated in the old wood style that will take you back to Thailand 50 years ago.

There are many shops in this complex including coffee shop, restaurant, cloth store and ya-dong shop (thai harble alcohol). You might feel this place is smaller than you've imagined but don't worry because the second phrase is now on the way.

It's definately a good spot to take a picture and hanging out. I haven't try neither food nor drinks there yet but will surely do next time. I've heard that every Friday - Sunday from now on, there will be "Temple fair" and more activities added. You can update the activities on the website below. So are you ready to get into a time machine now?
