Second day in Rome

Today is a big tourist day for us because we will go to the rest of the sightseeing places. First we started the day with good breakfast. Love the breakfast line here!

Now we had power to start our day. The first stop was at Vatican, st. Petersberg carthidral. By the way, the pope was not there today due to his mission in Praque so we didn't get a chance to meet him in person :p

This place is huge! And very beautiful. One thing I like about this place is everywhere you go you can take a picture! The reason for that is because the illustrators here made off mosaic. So no harm can be done from the photographer's flash.

After the church, we heading to Colosium and Roman Forum. My dad and mom got tired at this point and just want to take a picture outside but not going in the colosium. So me and my sister got to walk around the hiantic stadium with the local guide. It's an amazing place! The guide said this place is a marble quarium for St. Prtersburge and other important places in Rome because this stadium made of marble.

The sun was hitting us bad and both of me and my sister got burnt so we decided to go back to see our parents at the cafe near by. Afterward we went to grab easy lunch around the area.

Next stop is Roman Forum, where it was built a couple of years before the Chrise. Here we learnt that people back then were very genius for achitecture. Here is the first place to have suar system that run underground. We saw the place where Julias Cecar was cremated as well here.

This time we got really burnt and it was only 2pm. I need some rest so I insisted to go back to the hotel or I might faint! Everyone agreed to have a rest at the hotel for 2 hours before coming out for shopping and dinner afterward.

Bkk goodies in Italy

After a long night flight from Bkk, finally we arrived in Loenado Davincy airport in Rome. We proceeded to the hotel..... around 8 am. We took a shower get dress and went down to have breakfast. The buffe line had a full options but not completed range of breakfast items. I decided to have rocket salad with smoke salmon for the first plate folowed with cold cut with two kinds of cheeses, boiled eggs and a cup of coffee. Everything tasted sooooo yummy especially cherry tomatoes. After a very nice - first meal in Rome, we got a couples of hours to have a rest. The bed was very comfy and we all took a long-two- hour nap! Around 1 pm.we were ready to get a grimpse of Rome.

Our first destination is Spanish Step where on top located the Spanish embassy. Lots of people sitting on those steps enjoying the sun. After that we walked in the side street to high brand shops. The item there were very nice but the price were unaffordable!

We decide to have high tea at the oldest tea room in Rome. After a cup of hot chocolate and a piece of cake, we are now ready to walk to Travie Fountain

After we got enough rest we walked more to.... There were lots of people at the Travie fountain but we manage to get good photos there. This fountain designed by Michale Angello with his sculpture in the middle of it. It's enormous! and nice. I did throe the coint and pray for returning here like everybody does.

On the way to the... , my dad got tired so we made a stop at a cafe and order some beer and drinks. We were chatting with P'Pom, our tour guide about his experiences working in tourist industry. It was fun!
We walked to the next destination which is Panthyon afterward

Panthyon is pactrically a place used for baptise in the ancient time. Infront, it is a plaza with a couple of cafes. After walk around, we made a decision to stop for drinks at a plce in the Plaza. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and just chilled there.

Once we finished the bottle of Prosecco, it was time for dinner. We walked to an Italian restaurant that our guide recommend. We ordered one bottle of red Chianti, pizza, pasta and saladWhile lestening to a musicien sing a song with a guiter. Lovely night and good meals to end the day, what else you can ask for more?
